Never really realized how much fat was inbetween organs too!
This is why people shouldn’t get discouraged when they first start losing weight. Its not gonna come off your tummy and thighs first its gonna come off between the organs.. where it shouldn’t be!
These visualizations are some of my biggest short-term motivators. They help me remember that a lot of the physical changes that occur from healthy habits are in parts we can’t see.
I couldn’t agree with Risa more. It’s easy to get discouraged when you feel like your hard work isn’t yielding any results, but things like this help me to remember that progress isn’t always visible. But that certainly doesn’t mean it isn’t occurring.
So, here are some more photoshopped images that I found in the fitspo, motivation, squat, and basically any other health related tag. It’s a bit disappointing for a community that promotes “health” but there isn’t anything healthy on trying to look like a certain person, especially when it’s a photoshopped image since it is damaging to our mental health. All of the images on the left are the photoshopped ones, the ones on the right at the “originals.”
All of these pictures were taken within the same 5 minutes.
I want people to realize that photography is all about position and lighting. I’m sick of seeing comments on photos saying “I wish I looked like that” even on mine, because guess what? The person in the photos doesn’t even look like that. And chances are they took another 20 photos before they got the right one. Everybody thinks that just because it’s clear someone hasn’t used photoshop it must be the real thing. But if you look close enough, you can spot these little tricks.
We’ve all seen pictures like this, we’ve even taken pictures like this. But lets not skip meals and go for 3 hour long runs to look like a body you saw on tumblr which doesn’t exist in a sense.
